Blog Assignment1
The Pierre School District #32-2 is located in the Capital of South Dakota. It has four elementary schools, one middle school and one high school.
District Assessments
The School Improvement Committee is looking at determining some assessments that are included with your textbook series, that could be used at specific times of the year to give us a better view of how our well our students are learning.
Currently, our only real source of District Data is standardized test scores, which we know does not give us a very accurate picture. We need to have some data available to teachers and administrators that is more useable and timely.
The new Achievement Series may be one way that we can assess students learning, but I have been informed that at this time, there are many errors in it.
